Bobby Rodriguez is a junior at Kings Row Boys School and a frontrunner for one of the coveted spots in the school's fencing team.

Bobby has a petite stature compared to his peers and dresses in feminine clothing. He has brown eyes and long, wavy brown hair which he styles in different hairdos, decorating it with bows or hair clips. He has several ear piercings and a tunnel in his right ear.

Bobby is very upbeat and friendly. He does not hesitate to help strangers and to make friends with them. But his apparent extrovert nature flips quickly when it comes to romance, as he is too shy to even talk to his crush, Seiji Katayama.[1]
Bobby started fencing out of a great admiration for the sport and because he wants to become the kind of person "who accomplishes their goals"[2].

Plot[]
After Bobby helps Nicholas, who has been deceived by Eugene, both of them join the tryouts for the fencing team. As Nicholas struggles at the beginning of the tryout tournament, Bobby often worries about him. Bobby himself loses his match against Harvard who notes his improvement.
Fencing Skills[]
Bobby's strengths include good footwork and a strong guard position, but he suffers from a small reach and little self-confidence.[2]
Relationships[]
Bobby is the first person at Kings Row Nicholas makes friends with and Dante's roommate. When not fencing, Bobby spends most of his time together with Dante.
