Sally Williams is a former champion fencer[1] and the coach of Kings Row Boys School's fencing team along with her Assistant Coach Lewis.
Appearance[]
Williams has brown eyes, dimples in both cheeks and black, natural hair that she wears as an afro. Her hair has partly started to turn gray. She has a slim figure and is always shown wearing her signature white and red zip-up hoodie and dark gray leggins with black and light gray horizontal stripes.
Personality[]

As a fencing coach, Williams is strict, stern, blunt, and very ambitious. She expects a lot of discipline from her students which manifests itself in a wall full of phrases she has banned from her salle.[2]
Despite coaching épée, she strongly prefers another fencing weapon, namely saber, and vocally declares her standpoint.[2]
Outside of her duties as a coach, she is shown to have a dry sense of humor and a softer side, for example when she talks to Nicholas after his demoralizing loss against Eugene, giving him a detention slip right afterwards for breaking curfew.[3]
Plot[]
Under her supervision, the tryouts for the new fencing team are taking place.
While keeping track of the tournament rankings, she is taking notes of all the fencers' progress, strengths and weaknesses.[4] On multiple occasions, she is also doing background reseach on some persons of interest like Seiji's Coach, Dmytro Osharov[5] or Robert Coste.[6]

Coach Lewis is a competent assisstant to Coach Williams in every aspect. Although there are indications that Lewis has a crush on her, Williams does not seem to know of it at this point.
Robert Coste[]
Williams has personally met Robert Coste at the fencing circuit.[3] He left the impression of a very dedicated, focussed fencer on her.
